HandyMan is a Mobile Manager for MODX Revolution, which I have developed. However, most of the credit goes to the great individuals and companies who have joined a micro-funding initiative in March 2011 to get this project off the ground. They have been immortalized in the HandyMan Wall of Fame.

If you're new to HandyMan, I suggest checking out the 50-second promo below, or the more serious and in-depth 8 minute screencast, both created by Jared Loman.

Like what you see? That's great! You can too start using HandyMan, it's available for free from the MODX site and through the Package Manager. You can find more documentation about Installing HandyMan and a number of Frequently Asked Questions on the RTFM. You can also check out the MODX Mobile website.

You can probably imagine that a product like this doesn't just fall out of a tree, but takes a lot of time and development to get released and maintained after that. There's plenty of ideas in the HandyMan roadmap, and you can help get us there! If you are a developer, feel free to dive into the bug tracker and help fix issues. The source is on Github, and I will gladly review any pull requests coming in! If you are not a developer, you can also help by testing the addon and bringing home feedback, bug reports and ideas (all should go into the Bug Tracker, too!).

Of course, you can also make a donation which will entitle you to a few key benefits. You can make a donation by sending a payment via PayPal to paypal@markhamstra.com (put HandyMan in the description!). We'll get a donation form back up here some time soon :)
